Browser-based compression using WebAssembly means:
- No network request transmits your video

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is my compressed file larger than expected? Very short videos (under 30 seconds) that were already well-compressed may not reduce much further. In these cases, the original is fine to use.
Can I compress a video on my phone without an app? Yes. Open the tool in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android). Everything runs in the browser — no download needed.
Is there a file size limit? We don't impose one. Very large files (3GB+) may take several minutes depending on your device's CPU and RAM, but they'll process.
Can I use this commercially? Yes. The output has no watermark, no embedded metadata from our tool, and no attribution requirements.
What happens to my video data after compression? Nothing — it exists in your browser's memory until you download it. When you close the tab, it's gone. We have no access to it at any point.
